It is TIME for me to comment back on your blog, since I just discovered all the comments you left on mine. I know now how I am connected to you -- my dear Miss Johannis! You are the friend she visited in Texas recently? and you know Kevin from me? (I saw you commented on his . . . he asked me if I knew you).
It's so good to meet you. I see we have many of the same favorite books and authors. I read Hannah Whitall Smith last summer and I loved it very much! My dear friend Christen (mutual friend of Johanny and me) gave it to me for my birthday. I learned later that Hannah actually had a really horrible life where she lost children early in life and her husband was unfaithful. It just made her book even more beautiful!
Thanks for commenting :) Yes, I am Miss Johanna's friend from Texas who she recently visited :)! Johanna said she knew you'd figure it out!
I know what you mean about Hannah Whitall Smith one of the most joyful missionary ladies I know had experienced the most difficult circumstances nearly losing all of her children and her husband on top of other just difficult things. I think that's probably part of the key to the abundant life, no? Rejoicing in all circumstances - Habakkuk 3:17-18.
